ABC~Sketched~2000. Sketched Blog Inspiration@shabbyshoppe.com

Standard

This would have to be my favourite layout challenge so far..particularly liked this one as I used my Black and White photos of my 3 children, that I sepia toned. and then turned my fave group one of them into a sketch. I was studying Diploma of Photography in 2000 and learning Black and White darkroom techniques when I took these photos, (including painting on developer for the group shot),so the sketch challenge was perfect for these photos. I really like this layout and am particularly proud of it.

All products used for this digital scrapbook layout are 100% free from the shabby shoppe.

For the speed scrap challenge held on 12th October 2011 at 10:00am (equivalent to 4:00am New Zealand time on 13th October)~we had 1 instruction posted every ten minutes live, for an hour, then another hour to complete the layout and upload it to the shabbyshoppe Speed Scrap gallery. This was my entry. (hard to do on dial-up I might mention!)

I used a few of  my daughter Amanda’s model photos. And am particularly proud of this one.

Birthstone Inspiration Layout.

Standard

Being that my birthstones are Ruby (Red) and Moonstone (White) and my sister Tania’s birthstone is sapphire (Blue) I choose my Marching photos as my inspiration for these layouts. page 1

We marched for The Broadway Marching Association (Marton NZ) at that time Debbie was in senior grade for Broadway Bandoliers, I wasin junior grade for Broadway Debonaires and Tania was in midget grade for Broadway Cavaliers. Mum was a Chaparone for the midgets.

I created my own embellishments by scanning  in images of my  first marching medal and the marching boots badge and the Wanganui NZ Marching Association badge as well as my red, white and blue ribbons.
