Smile~ December color challenge~ Cream, Blue and Purple.

I was inspired by Merrys creation for the same challenge at Club CK. this is my version. I did have lots more embellishments and more journalling but found that they distracted from the vibrancy of the layout so bit by bit took most of it away and ended up with this more simplistic design, but I love it. My fave colour is purlpe and when I saw this challenge I knew that this photo would be perfect for it. I had made my oldest daughters purple dress myself and remembered that she wore it in this photo.

Karaoke~Summer Nights. Club CK challenge~swirlies

Shane loves to sing, infact he has an amazing voice. me I didn’t really do the karaoke thing till I met Shane. Now we are enbarking on singing a few duets when we go out (which isn’t often). But I am enjoying it more now! And yes we did get applause after we sang Summer Nights!

I used my newly found blending technique for this one. blending photos into patterened paper backgrounds then recoloured it.

Club CK~ November Recipe Challenge entry.~recipe for Love~Shane and JoAnne

I am particularly proud of this one, I created the scalloped edge pages by using scallop boarders and layering to existing pages,  resizing then merging layers then saving as psd file.  love the look it gave. Most products from shabby shoppe but some embellishments from other free websites.

ABC~Sketched~2000. Sketched Blog Inspiration@shabbyshoppe.com

This would have to be my favourite layout challenge so far..particularly liked this one as I used my Black and White photos of my 3 children, that I sepia toned. and then turned my fave group one of them into a sketch. I was studying Diploma of Photography in 2000 and learning Black and White darkroom techniques when I took these photos, (including painting on developer for the group shot),so the sketch challenge was perfect for these photos. I really like this layout and am particularly proud of it.

All products used for this digital scrapbook layout are 100% free from the shabby shoppe.

ABC~ 2000~ November pinterest challenge at Club CK.

 

This layout was entered for the November pinterest challenge in Club CK and got chosen for this weeks gallery highlights! I was so impressed. Because not all products are from shabbyshoppe( I created this one using other free digital scrapbook downloads as well as shabbyshoppe ones).

Unfortunately this one has a white background paper so the edges are not defined.

Speed Scrap challenge entry~12th October 2011.

For the speed scrap challenge held on 12th October 2011 at 10:00am (equivalent to 4:00am New Zealand time on 13th October)~we had 1 instruction posted every ten minutes live,for an hour, then another hour to complete the layout and upload it to the shabbyshoppe Speed Scrap gallery. This was my entry. (hard to do on dial-up I might mention!)

I used a few of  my daughter Amanda’s model photos. And am particularly proud of this one.

Halloween Teen~ challenge 18 layout.

These are  before and after photos of my 17 year old son Bruce, before he went to a Halloween Party.  I thought they would be great memories to scrap!
